Nissan launches new KICKS in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Jan 23 (UNI) Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan on Wednesday launched its much-awaited Intelligent SUV, the new Nissan KICKS in Hyderabad.



Manufactured at the company's plant at Oragadam, Chennai, the new Nissan KICKS offers owners an exceptional combination of premium-ness, spacious interiors and stylish exteriors.

With best-in-class features drive innovation and comfort the new Nissan KICKS is available in between Rs 9.55 lakh and 14.65 lakh across India. Deliveries to customers will commence today at all Nissan dealerships.



Speaking at the launch, Atul Shahane, Vice President, Dealer Network Development, Customer Quality and Training, Nissan India said, "The new Nissan KICKS reflects our passion and commitment to bring the best of Nissan global products and technology to our customers in India. It is a complete vehicle package with an exceptional combination of intelligent technology, class-leading premium-ness, intelligent choice of ownership, personalization.

We are confident that with its progressive SUV design and advanced technology, as well as many best-in-class propositions, the new Nissan KICKS will stand out in this competitive SUV segment in India."



Driving Personalization Available in four variants, XL, XV, XV Premium, and XV Premium+ in diesel, and two dynamic variants- XL, XV in petrol, the new Nissan KICKS would be available in 11 exciting colours, Mr Atul said.



“The new Nissan KICKS can also be personalised with 27 different accessory categories, and tailor-made as per customer requirements. The durable and custom-fitted quality accessories come with a one-year warranty/up to 20,000 kms whichever is earlier. The stylish design is complemented by enhanced performance and driving dynamics.

The new Nissan KICKS will offer a 1.5H 41( petrol option driven by five-speed manual transmission and 1.5K 9K dci Diesel engine driven by six-speed manual transmission. The fuel efficiency certified under test conditions is 14.23 km/I (Petrol) and 20.45 km/I (Diesel) as per ARAI Certification”.



Talking to newsmen on the sidelines of the programme, Mr Atul said that at present the company has 275 Nissan touch points (dealerships) across the country. It would be doubled during the next three years including in rural areas. Of the total 275 touchpoints, six are in Hyderabad—two in sales segment and four as workshops.



Stating that at present there is no waiting list, Mr Atul refused to divulge about number of booking and sales of Nissan KICKS.
