Niranjan promises sops to farmers if Congress voted to power in Odisha in 2019 elections

Bhubaneswar, Dec 12 (UNI) Odisha Pradesh Congress chief Niranan Patnaik today promised a slew of sops to the farmers of the state if the Congress is voted to power in the 2019 Assembly elections.
Addressing newsmen after the party’s victory in three Hindi heartland states of the country, Mr Patnaik said if the Congress comes to power it will waive the farm loan and extend financial assistance to them for full five years.
The Congress, he further said, will also provide solar pumps to all the farmers so that they would be able to provide irrigation to their crop land which would stabilize their economic condition.
