Nineteen injured as APSRTC bus overturns in Telangana

Jogulamba Gadwal, Feb 19 (UNI) At least 19 people were injured, some of them seriously, when an Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) bus lost control and overturned on a national highway at Itikyalapadu in Undavelly mandal of Jogulamba Gadwal district in the early hours of Thursday.
According to police, the bus was on its way to Anantapur from Hyderabad when the accident occurred.
Motorists travelling on the same road rushed to the spot and alerted the police. Police personnel promptly reached the scene and shifted the injured passengers to Kurnool Government Hospital for treatment.
