Nine Illegal water connections detected in Ranchi during inspection drive

Ranchi, Jan 19, (UNI) The Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) has detected nine illegal water connections during a site inspection conducted by the Water Supply Branch under the Morabadi area.
According to an official press release issued by the Public Relations Wing of RMC, the inspection was carried out on January 19 at Thakur Hill Road, Morabadi, Ranchi, following specific directions.
During the inspection, illegal water connections were found at the following locations: Kamla Apartment, Dwijangali Apartment, Sunena Apartment, Parivar Garden Apartment, Maa Taramani Apartment, Basanti Enclave, Avdesh Kumar Singh premises, Sangeeta Villa and Aishwarya Residency.

Odisha Assembly adjourned till 4 PM amid uproar over paddy procurement crisis

The uproar forced Speaker Surama Padhy to adjourn the House till 4 PM without conducting any business.

Meghalaya assembly Speaker disallows adjournment motion on coal mine blast
