Nine awarded life imprisonment in Palamu

Daltonganj, May 16 (UNI) A local court today awarded life imprisonment to nine accused in a kidnapping related case in Palamu district. The court of Additional Sessions Judge Mohammed Naseeruddin awarded the punishment and also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 each on all the nine accused.
Failing to pay the fine they would have to undergo additional imprisonment of four months each.
Those who have been awarded the punishment are Kunal Singh,Chandan Singh, Rajesh Kumar Verma alias Fantoos, Prakash Singh, BabuPrajapati, Pappu Pandey alias Rakesh Pandey, Chotu Pandey aliasHimanshu Pandey, Arvind Pandey and Lalan Paswan.
