Night temperature above normal

Pune, Nov 28 (UNI) Night temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1°C or more) at a few places over Madhya Maharashtra; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at a few places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura andRayalaseema; at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at most places over Uttarakhand; at many places over Punjab; at a few places over Bihar, Assam and Meghalaya; at isolated places over east Uttar Pradesh. They were below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at most places over Vidarbha; at many places over east Madhya Pradesh and Telangana; at a few places over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, west Madhya Pradesh and Odisha; at isolated places over Saurashtra, Kutch, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and near normal over rest parts of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 6.3°C is reported at Hissar (Haryana) over the plains of the country.
Thunderstorm observed (from 0830 hours IST of yesterday to 0830 hours IST of today) at isolated places over Kerala and Mahe.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Kerala and at a few places in coastal Karnataka and Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka and AndamanandNicobarIslands. Mainly dry weather has prevailed in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kasmir and Ladakh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat State, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
