NIA gets 8 day custody of Maoist arrested at Vadodara.

New Delhi, July 18 (UNI) National Investigating Agency (NIA) on Tuesday got eight day custody of an absconding accused Jharilal Mahto who was wanted in Left Wing Extremism case, from the NIA designated court at Ranchi for custodial interrogation.
According to an official statement here on Wednesday on a specific tip the probing Agency NIA had arrested Mahto at Vadodara on Monday and produced him before the NIA special court Ranchi on Tuesday.
Mahto was one of the accused in a case registered by the NIA on May 5 under various section of IPC, Arms act and Explosive Substances Act . He was declared an absconder when the State police had arrested armed cadre including functionaries of Communist Party of India (Maoist) and recoved huge cache of arms along with other incriminating documents.
