New Delhi, Feb 25 (UNI) The National Investigation Agency on Thursday said that it has filed a supplementary charge sheet before the NIA Spacial Court, Ranchi against Vikas Ganjhu 'Avinash' or Dashrath Ganjhu, a Zonal Commander of proscribed organisation Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC) under Sections 120B read with 386 of Indian Penal Code, Sections 17, 18, 20 and 21 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 and Section 17 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act.
The case was initially registered at police station Panki in Palamu district of Jharkhand on November 23, 2017 and was pertaining to the recovery of Rs five lakh cash, along with arms and ammunitions from Shyam Bhokta 'DC', a TPC operative.
The TPC, a break-away terrorist group of CPI (Maoist), is also an unlawful organisation proscribed by Jharkhand under the CLA Act, 1908,which has been involved in extortion and levy collection from the businessmen, industrialists, contractors involved in government developmental projects in several districts of Jharkhand and Bihar.
