Lucknow, July 1 (UNI) A Special National Investigation Agency (NIA) Court has convicted and sentenced five people to rigorous imprisonment, in connection with a blast that rocked Bijnor in 2014, an official spokesman said here on Friday.
The spokesman said the convicts included Husna, Abdulla, Raees Ahmad, Nadeem and Furkan, all residents of Bijnor.
"The accused have been sentenced to six years rigorous imprisonment under Section 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), along with seven years rigorous imprisonment (RI) under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act," he said.
