Next CM of SKM accepted by Governor

Gangtok, May 25 (UNI) Sikkim Krantikari Morcha party led by its President PS Goley called on Governor Ganga Prasad today in the pre noon at Raj Bhawan here.

He was accompanied by all of SKM’s winning candidates. The MLAs designate had proposed PS Goley as their Chief Minister for next 6 months and to contest election after that span of time.

Governor Ganga Prasad has forwarded his documents to centre. The formality will soon be completed. His Chief Ministership is 99 per cent confirmed, said a party member.

The swearing-in ceremony will take place on May 28m, 2019 at Paljour Stadium.

Goley could not contest 2019 election due to his conviction earlier in a cow scam as a minister in PK Chamling cabinet. Complaint against him was filed by NB Bhandari’s Sikkim Sangram Parishad party member Nuk Tshering and two others.
