Islamabad, Aug 30 (UNI) Twelve people were killed when a landslide hit a house in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province here on Friday morning, rescue teams said.
The accident happened in Upper Dir district where heavy monsoon rains have been pouring for the last few days, Rescue 1122, the state-run rescue organization, said in a statement.
The deceased, including three women, six kids and three men, were members of the same family who were sleeping inside the house when the calamity hit, the statement added.
