Danish PM says Kiev may use Denmark-supplied F-16s in Kursk region

Copenhagen, Aug 31 (UNI) The Ukrainian military has Denmark's blessing to use Denmark-supplied F-16 fighter jets to attack Russia's territory, including the Kursk Region, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said on Saturday.
Earlier this month, Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen said the Ukrainian armed forces had the right to strike Russian territory using Denmark-supplied weapons.
"We are not putting restrictions on F-16s. It has to be according with international law ... We have given these jets with no restrictions [other] than according to international law," Fredriksen said at a session of the GLOBSEC Forum when asked whether the land incursion into the Kursk Region by the Ukrainian forces was included in Denmark's previous statements about the use of the jets.
