US VP says President Trump wants to end Washington’s funding of Russia-Ukraine war

Washington, Aug 11 (UNI) US Vice President JD Vance has said that President Donald Trump wants the United States to end funding the Russia-Ukraine war, stating that Washington has grown ‘tired’ of spending such exorbitant amounts at behest of the average American taxpayer, as the US economy itself is facing problems.

"The president and I certainly think that America, we are done funding the Ukraine war business. We want to bring about a peaceful settlement to this thing. We want to stop the killing. But Americans, I think, are sick of continuing to send their money, their tax dollars, to this particular conflict," Vance told Fox News yesterday.
