3rd Oath Keeper member pleads guilty in US Capitol siege

Washington, May 5 (UNI) William Todd Wilson, a regional leader of the Oath Keepers, pleaded guilty to the charge of seditious conspiracy and obstruction of an official proceeding for his actions during the events at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, the Justice Department said.
Wilson, 44, who pleaded guilty Wednesday, reportedly overheard Stewart Rhodes on speaker phone with the intermediary, US media reported.
Court documents stated that sometime after 5 pm on January 6 last year, Wilson and some of his fellow Oath Keepers were in a private suite at the Phoenix Hotel when the group’s founder, Stewart Rhodes, called an unidentified Trump intermediary and put the person on speaker phone.
