Ukraine to push for dynamic EU accession process starting from 2025

Kyiv, June 25 (UNI) Ukrainian authorities intend to redouble efforts to accelerate EU accession talks starting in 2025, when the Council of the EU Presidency is taken by Poland, Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister Olha Stefanishyna said.

Last week, the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU announced that the council had approved the start of negotiations on Ukraine and Moldova's accession on June 25 (Tuesday). Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Stefanishyna are expected to participate in the talks, a high-ranking source in Brussels told reporters on Monday.
