5 killed, 32 injured in tour bus crash in Thailand

Bangkok, Jan 1 (UNI) Five people were killed and 32 others injured after a tour bus lost control and crashed into trees in southern Thailand on late Wednesday.
The victims were aboard the bus traveling back from the southern province of Yala when the accident occurred near an intersection in the Chaiya district of Surat Thani province, according to a local public relations office.
The five deceased were killed at the scene of the accident. The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
