Next SCO summit will be held in China in 2025

Astana, July 4 (UNI) The next meeting of the Council of Heads of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) member states will be held in 2025 in China, and China will also assume the chairmanship of the organisation for the coming period, according to the Astana Declaration of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO.

"The chairmanship of the SCO for the coming period is being transferred to the People's Republic of China. The next meeting of the Council of Heads of SCO Member States will be held in 2025 in the People's Republic of China," the document read.
