SL schoolchildren not getting adequate food

Colombo, Nov 12 (UNI) Sri Lanka's Education Minister Susil Premajayantha has admitted that schoolchildren in the country are not receiving adequate food.
Speaking in Parliament, the Minister said the government was trying to allocate more funds for the school mid-day meal programme, The Island newspaper reported.
The Minister said that a separate division had been set up to look into the nutrition levels of schoolchildren.
