Police kill 124 terrorists in first 6 months of 2024 in NW Pakistan

Islamabad, July 1 (UNI) The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of police in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has killed 124 terrorists and arrested 322 others in the first six months of the ongoing year, an official statement said.
A total of 1,433 operations were conducted and the CTD officials thwarted 55 terrorist attacks across the province, the statement released by the CTD said on Sunday.
In some other operations, the CTD arrested 14 suspects involved in the smuggling of explosives from the province.
