Tight security along Myanmar border to halt illegal activities: Bangladesh Foreign Minister

Dhaka, Oct 5 (UNI) Bangladesh’s Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen has said that firing will be done along the border, if necessary, to halt smuggling of illegal arms, drugs and human trafficking from neighboring Myanmar.

He said that earlier it was decided not to shoot along the Myanmar-Bangladesh border. But firing will be done from now on to halt the illegal activities. Only then it will halt human trafficking, drugs and arms smuggling.
