S Korean President calls for unveiling details of economic revival plan for N Korea

Seoul, July 22 (UNI/Sputnik) South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol has directed the country's ministry of unification to unveil the details of the plan to revitalize the North Korean economy if Pyongyang agrees to drop its nuclear ambitions, deputy presidential spokesman Lee Jae-myoung said on Friday.
Yoon announced the plan in his May 10 inaugural address, saying that if Pyongyang does embark on the denuclearization path, Seoul would introduce an "audacious plan" to significantly strengthen economy of North Korea and improve the standard of living of its people.
On Friday, Yoon conducted a meeting with Unification Minister Kwon Yong-se and asked for the details of the plan.
