Biden emphasises on responsible competition between US-China to avoid conflict

Washington, Nov 16 (UNI) US President Joe Biden during his meeting with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on Monday (local time) emphasised on ensuring competition between the two countries in a responsible manner to avoid any conflict.
Both leaders began the virtual meeting by reiterating on the need to move forward the US-China relations in a "positive direction".
"We've spent an awful lot of time talking to one another, and I hope we can have a candid conversation tonight as well," Biden said while sitting at the head of the Roosevelt Room table.
