Russia-Azerbaijan trade turnover up 11% despite pandemic - Putin

Moscow, Nov 26 (UNI/Sputnik) The mutual trade turnover between Russia and Azerbaijan increased by 11% despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Russian President Vladimir Putin told his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev, on Friday.
"Our strategic partnership is developing very successfully. It is enough to say that despite all the pandemic issues and restrictions in the economy associated with this, nevertheless, this year, for 9 months of this year, the volume of our trade increased by 11%. This is a good index," Putin told Aliyev during a meeting in Sochi.
