Pakistan foreign minister meets Chinese counterpart

Islamabad, Aug 21(UNI) Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on Friday and discussed bilateral relations and other matters of mutual interest, Dawn News reported.The foreign minister is on a two-day official visit to China to attend the second round of the China-Pakistan Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue.
Qureshi, who is accompanied by several senior Pakistani officials, is leading the Pakistani delegation in the strategic dialogue.
According to the Pakistan foreign office, the two sides will hold discussions on a range of issues including cooperation on fighting COVID-19, bilateral relations and regional and international issues of mutual interest.
