German FM aware of Russian diplomat's death in Berlin

Berlin, Nov 5 (UNI/Sputnik) The German Foreign Ministry is aware of the death of a staffer of the Russian embassy in Berlin but does not comment on details for reasons of personal data protection, spokesman Christopher Burger said on Friday.
According to Der Spiegel newspaper, a 35-year-old diplomat, allegedly working for the Russian Federal Security Service, was found dead near the building housing the embassy's consular department. He reportedly fell out of the window.
"I can tell you that the foreign ministry is aware of the incident. I ask you to understand that I cannot provide any details for reasons of protection of the personal data of the deceased person and his relatives," Burger said at a briefing.
