Kabul, Sep 8 (UNI) A total of 122,000 drug users were hospitalised in Afghanistan, according to Mullah Abdul Haq Hamkar, deputy head of the country's counter-narcotics department.
Afghan counter-narcotic police have conducted 78,000 operations over the past three years, with 20,000 drug suspects arrested, Hamkar said.
According to the official, Afghan counter-narcotics police have also demolished 1,450 drug labs and 37,000 poppy farms across the country during the period.
