During that break all the leaders go to the lounge, so no body is there except the leaders....and the leaders talk to each other as well. As we indicated to you yesterday as well that Prime Minister (Modi) met several leaders ....Today also, he met many leaders including Chinese premier....None of us were there, so I am not able to share what exactly passed on between them," Mr Kumar said.

However, Mr Modi also sought to build up pressure on Pakistan and China and maintained that North Korea's proliferation links ought to be investigated and the parties who supported such "unlawful programmes" be made accountable.

The meeting between Mr Modi and his Chinese premier come on the backdrop of India joining the United States, Australia and Japan in floating the Quadrilateral tie up structure essentially to counter Chinese influence in the region and also globally.
