nCoV: Global cases surpass 55 million

Washington, Nov 17 (UNI) The number of global cases of Novel Coronavirus surpassed the 55 million mark, while the deaths surged to more than 1.3 million on Tuesday, the Johns Hopkins University said.
In its latest update, the University's Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) revealed that the current global cases and death toll stood at 55,074,994 and 1,328,068, respectively.
The US houses the world's highest number of cases and deaths at 11,205,485 and 247,220, respectively, according to the CSSE.
