S Korea's daily Covid-19 cases hit record high

Seoul, Nov 18 (UNI/Xinhua) South Korea's daily number of Covid-19 cases hit a record high as the country launched the so-called "living with COVID-19" guideline earlier this month, the health authorities said Thursday.
According to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA), the country reported 3,292 more cases of COVID-19 as of midnight Wednesday compared to 24 hours ago, raising the total number of infections to 406,065.
It marked the highest daily caseload since the country's first case was found on Jan. 20, last year. The daily number stayed above 3,000 for two straight days.
