Nepal records 899 new cases of COVID-19, tally stands at 39,460

Kathmandu, Aug 31 (UNI) Nepal's Health Ministry on Monday reported 899 new cases of coronavirus infection from across the country, taking the national tally to 39,460.
During the same period the country also recorded 7 fatalities due to COVID-19, taking the death toll in the country to 228.
The ministry said in a statement that of the 899 people who tested positive for the disease, 303 are female while 596 are male, The Himalayan Times reported.
