Myanmar reports 3 new Omicron cases of Covid

Yangon, Jan 11 (UNI/Xinhua) Myanmar reported three new cases of Omicron variant of COVID-19 on Tuesday, taking the country's tally to 19, according to the Ministry of Health.
The ministry said the mutant COVID-19 strain was found in three samples of returnees from India after four laboratory samples of returnees were tested recently.
The number of COVID-19 infections in Myanmar has risen to 532,402 after 235 new cases were reported over the past 24 hours.
