nCoV: 35 fresh fatalities push toll to 5,440  in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Oct 7 (UNI) Coronavirus-related deaths stood at 5,440 in Bangladesh on Wednesday, with 35 more fatalities in the past 24 hours.
During the period, 1,520 people newly caught the deadly virus, taking the country's tally to 3,73,151, the Directorate General of Health Services said in a press release.
The press statement said 13,032 samples were tested in the past day. With this, the number of total sample tests reached 20,26,808.
