Afghanistan reports 203 fresh nCoV cases

Kabul, Jan 3 (UNI) Afghanistan on Sunday reported 203 fresh Covid-19 cases as health authorities conducted 1,502 tests within a day, bringing the number of total cases to 52,909, the country's Ministry of Public Health said.
Meanwhile, 114 people recovered during the past 42 hours, taking the overall number of recoveries to 42,405, while eight more deaths were reported, raising the death toll to 2,230, according to a ministry's statement.
Laboratories across Afghanistan have completed 204,335 tests since February when the first COVID-19 case was reported in the country.
