Paris, Dec 28 (UNI) France has announced tighter Covid restrictions ahead of New Year celebrations amid spike in Omicron cases.
According to the notification issued on Monday, remote working will become compulsory for those who can from January 3 and public gatherings will be limited to only 2,000 people for indoor events, BBC reported on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, France Prime Minister Jean Castex has not announced New Year's eve curfew.
