At least 4 people killed, 7 injured in fire in Pakistan

Islamabad, Sep 12 (UNI) At least four people were killed and seven injured when a fire broke out in a three-storey residential building in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi on Saturday, rescue teams said.
The incident occurred due to a short circuit on the first floor of the building in a densely populated area of the city, Salman Qureshi, a rescuer of the Karachi-based non-governmental organization Sayani Welfare Trust, told Xinhua news agency.
He said the fire broke out early in the morning on Saturday, but rescue operations were slightly delayed as congested roads obstructed fire fighters from moving their engines and machinery to the affected area in a quick manner.
