Washington, Sep 24 (UNI) Ahead of the QUAD meet in Tokyo next month, the US has stressed that cooperation with India in the security and defence arenas is "vital" for a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific region.
"The pace and scope of the #USIndia partnership continues to expand! Whether it's at @UN or with Quad partners, our growing security and diplomatic cooperation with India is vital to a free, open, and inclusive #IndoPacific," tweeted State Department for the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA).
New Delhi and Washington are highly agitated about China’s continued cyber-attacks. Both the countries even discussed further cooperation in cybersecurity and technology in defence production this month.
