Antananarivo, Oct 02 (UNI) Describing the transformation of Embassy of India Antananarivo into first clean and green Indian Embassy as a great achievement in the diplomatic world, the Prime Minister of Republic of Madagascar Christian Ntsay today said that by switching from thermal to solar India has shown the light that it is possible to change.
Inaugurating the solar power plant in a function organised at the Embassy of India, Antananarivo on the occasion of the grand finale of the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi Mr. Ntsay said here today that switching from thermal to solar was a great challenge which India came over successfully.
Appreciating the change which he described as a great initiative and achievement, the PM said that “India is showing us now that it is possible to change for which we need to go beyond words". India has made a difference, Mr. Ntsay said and congratulated the entire team for the great achievement.

Palestinian death toll in Gaza rises to 33,843

Gaza, April 16 (UNI) The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced Tuesday that the Palestinian death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has risen to 33,843.

The ministry said in a press statement that 46 people were killed and 110 others injured in five Israeli raids during the past 24 hours.
