US crude oil inventories up last week: API

Houstan, July 22 (Xinhua) -- The American Petroleum Institute (API) on Tuesday reported an increase of 7.544 million barrels of crude oil in the US crude oil inventories for the week ending July 17.

API reported a decrease of 8.322 million barrels of crude oil inventories for the previous week ending July 10 while the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported a fall of 7.5 million barrels.
