Dubai Forum celebrates 40 years of China-UAE ties

Dubai, Oct 24 (UNI) The first-ever Dubai Forum was held on Wednesday in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), to celebrate the 40th anniversary of ties between China and the UAE.
In his opening remarks, Chinese Ambassador to the UAE Zhang Yiming emphasized the deep-rooted partnership between China and the UAE, describing the two countries as comprehensive strategic partners, close friends, and brothers who firmly support each other.
The Chinese ambassador noted that China is the UAE's largest trading partner, while the UAE is China's top non-oil trade partner in the Arab region. The two countries' shared values, similar development goals, and strong people-to-people ties have solidified the bilateral relationship.
