PM Modi to hold bilateral with Spanish PM, attend G20 side session hosted by US President Biden

Rome/New Delhi, Oct 31 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday will hold a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sánchez, besides attending Day II of the 16th G20 Summit in Rome. He is also likely to hold bilateral talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
He will be attending Session II on Climate Change and Environment at the G20 Summit, and also Session III on Sustainable Development, which is a working lunch.
In the evening he will attend a side event, Global Summit on Supply Chain Resilience, being hosted by the US President Joe Biden.
He will hold a bilateral meeting with the Spanish PM on the sidelines of the G20 Summit.

The PM will depart for Glasgow later to attend the COP26 Summit.
On Saturday, he had called on Pope Francis at the Vatican, in the first such meeting by an Indian Prime Minister in more than 20 years.
He also attended a session on Global Economy and Global Health at the G20 Summit, and later held bilateral talks with French President Emmanuel Macron and Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
