Questions being raised regarding UN's effectiveness, in context of Covid, the Afghan crisis: PM Modi at UNGA

New York, Sep 25 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that many questions are being raised regarding the effectiveness of the United Nations, especially in context of the Covid-19 pandemic, the climate crisis and the current crisis in Afghanistan.

Addressing the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, the Prime Minister said: “Today there are many questions being raised on the UN’s effectiveness. We saw the questions being posed during the climate crisis, during the Covid pandemic.
