PM Deuba invites PM Modi to visit Nepal at earliest convenience

Glasgow/New Delhi, Nov 2 (UNI) Nepalese Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Nepal at the earliest convenience, during their bilateral meeting on Tuesday on the sidelines of the COP26, and also proposed that the inauguration of the Jaynagar-Kurtha cross-border rail link be done at the Prime Minister-level.
This was conveyed by Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla at a media briefing later.
“The two PMs know each other very well,” said Shringla, adding that the bilateral meeting was “touching base in PM Deuba’s new capacity”.
