Russian court seizes Ivanov's cars, motorbike in bribery case

Moscow, May 21 (UNI) A court has seized two luxury cars and a motorcycle belonging to Russian Deputy Defence Minister Timur Ivanov, who has been accused of bribery, a Sputnik correspondent found after analysing open data.
The cars, including a Mercedes-Benz V-class minivan and a Chevrolet Suburban SUV, were listed in Ivanov's assets declaration for 2019. The vehicles' ownership was transferred to his ex-wife in February 2023. In April, she put the Chevrolet up for sale following a car accident, Sputnik found.
Both cars had restrictions imposed on them, according to the AvtoFace online service. The restrictions were also imposed on a sports motorcycle, an MV Agusta, which Ivanov re-registered in his father's name in 2022. The motorcycle was registered to Ivanov himself in 2019, according to his income declaration.
