Minsk Police checking information regarding Kolesnikova's 'Kidnapping'

Minsk, Sep 7 (UNI) Police department of the Minsk City Council said on Monday said that they are checking information about the alleged kidnapping of opposition figure Maria Kolesnikova.
Commenting on media reports that Kolesnikova was kidnapped in the Belorussian capital the police spokeswoman said "We are verifying this information,".
Kolesnikova is a member of the presidium of the Belarusian opposition's coordination council. As per a report by Sputnik Belarusian prosecutors launched a criminal probe into the activities of the council in August, they claim that the council is a threat to the national security.
