Two sentenced in Lyon over threatening graffiti

Paris, Nov 3 (UNI) A court in Lyon has sentenced two teenagers over issuing death threats to a local official through graffiti on a school building last month, reported local media on Tuesday.
As per the regional outlet LyonMag, the perpetrators, an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old- both of Algerian descent were implicated for spraying threats to decapitate the mayor of the city’s 8th arrondissement, Olivier Berzane.
As per the report one was sentenced to two years in prison, while the other received a suspended sentence. The accused are also barred from interacting with one another or being in the vicinity of the school or Berzane.
