India sends Covid-19 related relief assistance to Myanmar

Jakarta/New Delhi, Nov 27 (UNI) India on Saturday sent Covid-19 related humanitarian assistance to Myanmar, in response to a call by the ASEAN.
In a tweet, India’s mission at the ASEAN (Association for South East Asian Nations) said: “Covid-19 pandemic-related Humanitarian Assistance pledged to ASEAN, from India reaches Myanmar.”
In a press statement, it said that in-kind contributions of Covid-19 relief material from India were delivered to the Myanmar Red Cross Society. The relief material will be distributed in coordination with the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management (AHA Centre).
