Armenia's Pashinyan calls Russia's Putin to discuss Nagorno-Karabakh escalation : Kremlin

Moscow, Sep 27 (Sputnik) Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has called Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the ongoing military hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Kremlin said on Sunday.
"At the initiative of the Armenian side, a telephone conversation took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The leaders discussed the acute escalation of the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone," the press release read.
Putin was quoted as expressing "serious concerns" over the renewed large-scale military hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh.
