Afghan airstrikes kills 11 Taliban militants in Faryab

Kabul, Aug 31(UNI) The Afghan air force launched an airstrike on Taliban militants in the northern Faryab province on Monday, which killed 11 Taliban militants, 209 Shaheen Army Corps said in a statement on Monday.
The airstrike took place in Qarma Qul district on Sunday, it said, adding that the Taliban camp was destroyed, TOLOnews reported.
The authorities did not provide further details regarding the incident.

In a message written to the Foreign Minister of Brunei Darussalam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Dr Momen expressed heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved Royal family, the government and the people of Brunei Darussalam for this unbearable loss. He wished that the bereaved family members would have enough fortitude to cope with this intolerable loss.
