Macao's restaurants record 1.53 bln USD revenue in 2019

Macao, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) The revenue of Macao's restaurant industry grew by 4.1 percent year-on-year to 12.24 billion patacas (about 1.53 billion U.S. dollars) in 2019, the special administrative region (SAR)'s statistic department said here on Tuesday.
The latest report from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that the expenditure of the industry rose by 3.4 percent to 11.88 billion patacas (about 1.49 billion dollars) in 2019.
The gross surplus of the industry stood at 377 million patacas (about 47.23 million dollars), a growth of 37.3 percent year-on-year, the DSEC report added.
