Explosion kills 4 civilians in northeastern Syria: state media

DAMASCUS, Sep 12 (Xinhua) Four civilians were killed and five others wounded on Saturday by an explosion in the countryside of the northeastern Syrian province of Hasakah, state news agency SANA reported.

The blast was caused by an explosive device, which went off in a marketplace in Ras al-Ayn, a city controlled by the Turkey-backed rebels in Hasakah, SANA said.
